April,26,2011 : ABA(Association of Bhutanese in America) Convention for the year 2011 is scheduled to be held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on June 30, through July 3. This venue was announced on the final day of the convention last year. A teleconference was organised to discuss about the program menu on April 26, 2011 at 9.p.m.Teleconference was headed by Khageshwor Mishra, Lancaster while ABA members Jeewan Subba from California,Bahadur Subba from Georgia and Kishor Pradhan from Pittsburgh were present.K.N.Timsina, Ashok Gurung and Balaram Gurung among many invited from Pittsburgh also participated in the onference call.

"ABA convention will mainly include presentation of ABA activity report, Ammendment of By-Laws and five year plan" as said by the ABA Representatives.
Ashok Gurung and K.N.Timsina from Pittsburgh expressed to give full support where ever possible to make their convention successful. They also pointed out the better part of the bhutanese community if OBCA and ABA could be brought into a common banner. On this note ABA representatives said, " We will send invitations to OBCA(Organization of Bhutanese Community in America) board members and many others in the convention"
