Die structure of die steel manufacturer can be divided into non overflow type and semi overflow type

The main equipment of die steel manufacturer is press and die. The function of the press is to apply pressure to the plastic through the mold. In rubber processing, press is called flat vulcanizer. The main parameters of the press include nominal tonnage, pressing plate size, working stroke and plunger diameter, which determine the area, height or thickness of the products that can be molded by the press, as well as the maximum molding pressure that can be achieved. According to the characteristics of its structure, the mould can be divided into three types: overflow type, non overflow type and semi overflow type. The technological process is divided into feeding, mold closing, exhaust, curing, demoulding and mold cleaning. If the product has inserts that need to be sealed during molding, the inserts shall be placed before feeding. The main control process conditions are pressure, mold temperature and molding time.
Processing characteristics
Compared with castings and forgings, stamping parts are thin, uniform, light and strong. Stamping can produce workpieces with stiffeners, ribs, undulations or flanging which are difficult to manufacture by other methods, so as to improve their rigidity. Due to the use of precision die, the precision of workpiece can reach micron level, and the repetition precision is high, the specification is consistent, and the hole and socket, boss, etc. can be punched. Generally, cold stamping parts are no longer machined, or only need a small amount of machining. The accuracy and surface state of hot stamping parts are lower than that of cold stamping parts, but they are still better than castings and forgings, and the machining amount is less.
Stamping is an efficient production method. Using compound die, especially multi position progressive die, multiple stamping processes can be completed on a press (single or multi position), realizing full-automatic production from uncoiling, leveling, punching to forming and finishing. It has high production efficiency, good working conditions and low production cost. Generally, it can produce hundreds of pieces per minute. Compared with other methods of machining and plastic processing, stamping has many unique advantages both in technology and economy. The main performance is as follows.
(1) The stamping process has high production efficiency, convenient operation, and is easy to realize mechanization and automation. This is because stamping relies on stamping die and stamping equipment to complete the processing. The number of strokes of ordinary press can be up to dozens of times per minute, and the high-speed pressure can be up to hundreds or even thousands of times per minute, and each stroke of stamping can get one punch.
(2) as like as two peas are used to ensure the stamping parts' surface quality, the die life is generally longer. The stamping quality is stable and interchangeability is good, and it has the same characteristics.
(3) Stamping can process parts with large size range and complex shape, such as stopwatch as small as clocks and watches, as large as car longitudinal beam, covering parts, etc. in addition to the cold deformation hardening effect of materials during stamping, the strength and rigidity of stamping are higher.
